Review And My Thoughts

Hey there,  hardcore gamers. This is a post I wanted for the players who either want to buy the game in 2019 or is returning back to the game after a long time.

GRAND THEFT AUTO 5, a well-known title in the AAA market and it's been very popular since the 2013's,  the game is almost 6 years old now. It's one of the most played games as in Steam with a player base averaging at 35000+ active all the time across the globe. I have been playing the game since February 2018 and have put 561 hours into the game by now.

New Game And Story Mode
For the people who are maybe new to gaming or bought a new PC and wondering if to buy the game, I would say absolutely yes for the stuff u can get for $15-$30.You get about 32 hours of story content, with all side missions and activities, it can easily top the game time up to 80 hours. The character design and story are very good compared to what we get nowadays. It's a game one should
at least try once in a lifetime.

GTA ONLINE
For this, I will assume everyone reading this part, is a completely new player(after you create your character) or a returning player with a new character. As a new character in the GTA online world, as a new player rather you will have to do the first mission where u meet Lamar outside the airport and
he will give you a pistol and have to race with Lamar,  it's a very easy mission. After you finish this you will be blasted with all kinds of texts and notifications on your mobile phones about everything you can buy and the game has to offer, which can be very overwhelming for a beginner, because GTA online has a lot (i mean a lot...) as of 2019, of this stuff which will keep popping up every time. Now making GTA cash can be a lot of grind in the beginning and mostly because of tryhard players in the game,  who will destroy your shipments and all the hard work you put into collecting your "goods"
with one missile, because most of the delivery (or selling of goods) is done by planes, motorcycles, trucks. Even if you find an online room with passive players, the missions itself are so stressful to grind after u get the gist of its too much grind to make a fair profit. Which makes people cheat, use tools to create unlimited money and literally change anything in the game, which is another problem in the online community, hackers will ruin your day. Earlier the Rhino and fighter jet was the most powerful vehicles but the person has to steal it from military base to use it against other players, but now you can have OP tanks, planes at they hangars and garages. So if u are a new player and you see a tryhard, you better change your room or else your death is a GTA phone call away. Which brings me to the loading times, you can literally play one Dota 2 game before it joins you to any server, finding games are even harder because people who have been playing this game tend to play the new DLC's and thus as a new player you will be left behind.
Let's come to the activities in GTA online, there are :
  • Heists
  • Doomsday Heists
  • Adversary Mode
  • Special Vehicle Missions
  • Deathmatch
  • Contact missions
  • Versus Missions
  • Capture Missions
  • Parachuting, Golfing, Tennis, Darts, etc.
  • Free Mode
and so on and so forth

Also you can buy
  • Hangars
  • Facilities
  • Apartments
  • Offices
  • Bunkers
  • Terrorbyte
  • Nightclubs
  • Motorcycle clubs
  • Warehouse
and they all have their sets of missions respectively.
With all, you can also buy Cars and Planes, Yacht, Boats, Special Vehicles.
I hope you get my point, it's a never-ending grind to achieve everything, with all the chaos and people always trying to kill you and destroy your work it's very hard.

The latest update bought us Arena wars with its own cars, games, buildings .......

Conclusion
So the conclusion, it's a good game but I would recommend only start with stuff u find the most interesting instead of jumping into everything and it will be better if you can find a friend to play with you. Rockstar wants to sell its Shark cards, so they will keep the game this way. The game has so much stuff but for a new player, it will take years to buy all of them. Even though I tried to enjoy the game the painfully high loading times and all the grinding bought me down to stop playing it again. If you are into this type of grinding or never played this game I would definitely say give it a try, but if you are a player who doesn't like repetitive jobs and care more about game mechanics and the gameplay itself, this game is not for you.

This wraps it up for the review. Thanks for reading this post, tell me what's your experience in GTA online and if you liked the post or not, and if I missed something.
